Two things you could only do on the web are now in the mobile app. You can switch between all your spaces without signing out, and arm or disarm individual locations wherever you are — leaving the site, checking in from the road, or just from the couch.

Browsing recordings is easier too. The new vertical timeline lets you scroll through footage the way you scroll everything else on your phone and get to the right moment in seconds.

We've also made a number of smaller improvements and fixed a few bugs along the way.

Update the app on the App Store or Google Play to get the new version.

You can now view all the messages Angelcam sends you — camera outages, incidents, arming/disarming events, and more — right inside the web app. Everything's in one place, so you have a full history of what's happened across your cameras. Alongside it, there's a notification delivery log, so you can see whether and when each notification was actually delivered.

We've also fixed a few things:

• Arming schedule now correctly accounts for the timezone.
• Full-screen mode now works in the broadcasting player on iOS.
• Fixed the MJPEG stream in the broadcasting player.

We've added full support for H.265 — and built a new player to go with it. H.265 is more efficient than H.264, so you'll typically get the same image quality at lower bandwidth. A nice bonus if you're running multiple cameras.

Most modern cameras and browsers handle H.265 just fine. On some older devices playback might not work — if that happens, check our troubleshooting guide. Not sure whether H.265 is the right choice for your setup?

A small but handy addition — you can now sort users in User management by last login or by name. Useful when you're trying to spot inactive accounts or just find someone quickly.

You can now use push-to-talk to speak live through any connected speaker — straight from the speaker list. And if you want to test how something sounds before using it for real, you can play back any of your uploaded audio files directly from the same place.

If your location is armed, AngelCamera Two will let you know — the LED turns red and starts blinking. A small but useful signal that your site is actively monitored.

No setup needed. It works automatically once your location is armed.

Sharing individual cameras was never a great solution — we knew that. So we rebuilt it properly. You now invite people to your space and set exactly what they can see and do. Use groups for bigger teams, limit access to specific locations or cameras, and add an expiry date if someone only needs in temporarily.

All your existing camera guests have been migrated automatically — nothing to do on your end.

You no longer need to go through us to start building. You can create a personal access token or set up an OAuth application directly in your Angelcam account — no waiting, no back-and-forth.

You can now share any saved clip with a link — no email required. Set an expiry date if you only want access to last for a limited time. And if a link ever gets into the wrong hands, you can revoke all active shares for that clip in one go.

When a camera goes offline, viewers used to see a generic error message. Now you can replace it with any image you choose — a branded placeholder, a friendly note, or whatever fits your setup.
